Itinerary

Day 1 – Chiang Mai Transfer to Jungle Trek (L/D)

Passing through tribal villages in Chiang Mai via Curious Wendy

You will be picked up by 9.00 – 9.30 am from your Chiang Mai accommodation for a 1.30 hour drive to reach to reach the starting point of our trek. We will first visit the local market to buy food. Before beginning our trek we will have lunch and take a moment to relax and gather our belongings. We will begin our adventure with a 3 hour hike through the beautiful jungle passing through a tribal village and learning about the natural vegetation. Upon arrival at our private accommodation in a jungle camp near a waterfall. We will have dinner and free time to swim in the waterfall, play games and sing around the campfire.

Day 2 – Jungle Trek (B/L/D)

We will have breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we will continue along the jungle trail for about 4 hours. On the way, we will pass by hill tribe villages. The guide will give you some information about the tribes. Later, we take some time to rest and swim at a nearby waterfall. You can relax and cool down in the waterfall before having lunch which will be served at the waterfall. We continue walking after lunch and stop by an amazing bat cave on the way. Upon arrival at the private jungle camp, we have dinner and get ready to sleep.

Day 3 – Jungle Trek – Chiang Mai Accommodation Drop-Off (B/L)

We have breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, we start hiking on the jungle trail for about 3 hours with a few breaks to visit different hill tribe villages. We will enjoy our last lunch in the jungle immersed in pristine nature before hiking back to the vehicle. We will get picked up by car and drive back to Chiang Mai. We will drop you off at your accommodation upon arrival around 5:30pm.

Important Note: Due to concerns regarding the treatment and welfare of captive elephants in Southeast Asia, we are no longer offering activities involving elephant rides or elephant trekking.

Suggested Packing List: Small backpack, passport copy, personal medicine, toilet paper, long /short sleeve shirts, long/short pants, walking shoes, flip flops, socks, swimming suit, towel, insect spray, sun block, raincoat (for rainy season)
