1. Shangri’s LA Mactan Cebu

The Heritage Hotel Manila is one of the Philippines’ most renowned all-inclusive resorts. The resort offered a pleasant stay with friendly and welcoming staff, making the visitors feel at home.

The rooms were well-maintained and clean, with some areas needing new carpet due to age. The resort’s location was convenient as it was 2.3 miles from the airport, 5 mins by taxi (100 pesos) or 10-15 mins (12 pesos) to MOA; a free shuttle was also available upon request. The food served at the resort was average.

The staff at the resort were exceptional and provided excellent service. Eric P. helped with luggage and guided us to the pool area, while Minnie Diamante and Gigi Guevarra were very helpful with needs, including decor and food prep.

The Banquet staff (Ledd, Robert, Joseph, and Wilson) were attentive and gracious. The front desk staff, Mac and Ana, were also friendly and provided help whenever needed. The resort offered a great deal for families as it was good value for money.

Furthermore, the Ballroom was quite classy and elegant, with exceptionally fluffy carpets. During our five-night stay at the resort, we enjoyed a free shuttle to the Mall of Asia and great food. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent customer service.

3. Princesa Garden Island Resort and SPA

The experience at Princesa Garden Resort was a memorable one. The staff were courteous and friendly, making us feel at home throughout our stay.

There was an air of relaxation in the environment, with all the facilities provided to us without any hassle. We especially enjoyed the food at Rice Café and Tomato & Basil. The staff there was attentive and gave us great compliments on the food.

We even had our private swimming pool and Jacuzzi in our room, which added to the experience.

The resort also had an extensive land area with activities like kayaking, swimming pools, etc. Our only problem was that the breakfast options were limited, and we felt it could have been better.

Kids especially enjoyed the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Still, the collection needed some maintenance as it was improperly kept up.

Other than this, our overall experience at Princesa Garden Resort was positive. The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Princesa Garden Resort and recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Princesa.

The grand entrance is breathtaking, but some areas, such as the elevators and rooms, need maintenance. The resort experience was mixed due to feeling unsafe on the beach because of persistent salespeople. The food is decent, but there is room for improvement in a 4-star hotel. Ocean-facing rooms offer lovely views but can be noisy due to bar music.

All in all, Henann Resort is a great location to spend with friends and family. The beautiful scenery, lush garden surroundings, powdery sand and crystal clear waters make it the perfect destination for your next getaway.
