The experience was truly enjoyable as the staff made sure to provide excellent services throughout our stay. The atmosphere is chilled and inviting, ideal for a stress-free getaway. We also recommend trying out the Italian restaurant onsite for some delicious breakfast options.

2. The Samaya Bali

Offering stunning views of the Indian Ocean, The Samaya Bali is a dream resort for couples, nestled along the picturesque shores of Seminyak. With its five private pool villas, guests can enjoy their little piece of paradise and the personalised butler service from Ari.

He was incredibly helpful throughout our stay and ensured all amenities were in place for an enjoyable experience. The villas are spacious, with a jacuzzi, shower, large bed, and a restocked mini bar. The resort also provides complimentary laundry and 24/7 buggy service, which we appreciate.

The clean accommodation was complemented by the beautiful poolside experience, with massive breakfast selections. Fresh fruit and afternoon tea were a bonus as well. We were also thankful to the staff who made our stay extra special with their helpfulness and smiles.

Breakfast at Breeze restaurant had a gorgeous ocean view while offering a delicious food selection. The convenience of the location was also great, being only a 5-10 minute walk away from the town and its many dining options. Overall, The Samaya Bali offered us a wonderful, unforgettable experience.

3. The Ulin Villas & Spa

The Ulin Villas & Spa is undoubtedly one of the best resorts in Bali with a private pool. My stay at the Ulin Villas was comfortable and exceeded all expectations. The villa I stayed in was spacious and well-appointed, with modern amenities and a private pool.

Arya was extremely helpful from the first moment we spoke; she provided information about the two different types of villas and a flexible check-in time. 

The service and hospitality given by the staff was second to none. Room service was efficient, and the breakfast staff were punctual. The team visited daily, ensuring everything was in order, and our stay was comfortable.

They even offered us post-checkout showering areas before heading to the airport! I stayed in the one-bedroom Villa 6, a traditional-style villa with stunning gardens. It was large and highly private, perfect for a five-night stay. 

The bedroom was bright with natural light, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious. The Ulin Villas are conveniently located near restaurants, shopping centres, and the beach.

Although they offer breakfast at the rate, I recommend exploring the local restaurants for their delicious offerings. Overall, staying at The Ulin Villas & Spa was a fantastic experience. I recommend it to anyone looking for modern luxury in Bali.

4. Hotel Tugu Bali

Located in the heart of Canggu, Hotel Tugu Bali is a unique and authentic Balinese experience. This private, secluded resort offers large pools for relaxation in a peaceful atmosphere. It is conveniently close to beach bars and local restaurants. 

From our villa with its plunge pool to the outdoor/indoor bathroom, it was easy to forget the busy city outside the gates. The warm welcome from the exceptional staff set the tone for a perfect stay. 

We experienced great hospitality and excellent service at Tugu Bali, from check-in to our private cooking class with Chef Dayu. Our 2-hour lesson was educational, fun, and incredibly tasty!

The outdoor kitchen setting was beautiful, and we learned how to make two unique dishes: Javanese Nasi Goreng and a Balinese dish. The hotel’s delicious cocktails complemented the words perfectly, making it an unforgettable experience.

The rooftop bar view could have been better due to the area’s construction and electrical lines. However, it still provided some great views of Canggu. With its higher cost than other resorts in the area, Hotel Tugu Bali is worth every penny for its unique and authentic experience. 

We capped off our stay with a beautiful night arrival. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to step out of Canggu’s buzz into an incredible hotel. And if you’re seeking a similar luxurious experience in Palm Springs, consider checking out a Palm Springs adults-only resort for a relaxing getaway.

5. Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay

Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay is an experience that families will never forget. When you arrive on the property, the staff recognize and welcome you as if they have known you for years.

The Royal Ocean Front Villas provide a private and luxurious stunningly landscaped setting. The resort offers its guests an exclusive beach club with attentive staff who are always there to ensure your every need is met.

The Sundara restaurant is a culinary experience that offers its guests top-class international food standards. All this, in combination with the romantic atmosphere and stunning views, make Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay a special destination for families looking for an unforgettable holiday.

The amenities and services offered by the resort have been designed to ensure maximum relaxation and enjoyment. Anak Angus and the team’s butler service made the vacation seamless and stress-free. The upper pool with the bay view was breathtaking, while the spa offered another level of relaxation.

What sets Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay apart from other resorts is its ability to provide a personalised experience for each guest. From remembering names upon arrival to offering activities that make great memories, the attention to detail and service was superior.

The only minor setback is the cost of staying at Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Bay, which can be high. However, overall, it is a highly recommended and memorable experience for families looking to unplug and relax.

6. The Aman Villas

The Aman Villa was indeed the best villa in Bali with a private pool for our group of four. We had an unforgettable experience, starting when we arrived at the resort with a personal greeting from the GM and villa team. 

The airport pickup was arranged meticulously by the resort staff, even though we had different flights arriving at other times. Though the Aman Villa is an older property, it was in great condition and very clean.

The villa was spacious enough for our group of four, and we were taken care of by the exceptionally friendly butler, Mr. Messi, who ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. It’s no wonder why Aman is renowned for its impeccable service! 

We loved the privacy the villa offered us, with its private butler, large space (4000m2), and a massive swimming pool. The natural surroundings were breathtaking, with colourful trees and flowers filling the air with sweet scents and bird songs. 

We also found the staff to be very friendly and full of manners throughout our stay. The Aman Villa is highly recommended for families looking for a clean and large swimming pool and those looking to stay in an iconic property with excellent service.

7. Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort & Spa

The Anantara Seminyak Resort in Bali is a tranquil sanctuary of luxury and relaxation. It offers luxurious amenities, personalised services, and unbeatable hospitality that will make your stay unforgettable.

The resort is in a beautiful location with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and a volcanic mountain range, making it the perfect destination for a unique holiday experience.

The resort offers several pool villas with a private deck for lounging and al fresco dining. The private balconies provide stunning ocean views, making each stay an exclusive paradise getaway. The staff at Anantara Seminyak Resort is another highlight of the place. 

Everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping were knowledgeable and warm, always greeting us with a smile and ensuring that our every need was handled. They provided attentive service, addressing each request quickly and efficiently. The food at the resort was also outstanding.

The breakfast buffet had an impressive spread, including traditional Balinese dishes and international options. The lunch menu was varied and delicious, ranging from fresh seafood to vegetarian options.

The resort provides several activities and amenities, from a sunrise hike to a volcano to an outdoor gym with spectacular ocean views, making it perfect for couples looking for a romantic getaway or families enjoying quality time together.

Overall, my stay at Anantara Seminyak Resort was nothing short of amazing.

Apart from the excellent service, The Legian Bali has some of the best facilities. The large pool area is great for having fun and relaxing with friends or family. At the same time, complimentary yoga classes, a well-equipped gym, and direct beach access give you plenty of opportunities for fitness and recreation.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a long day. Some rooms also come with beautiful beach views and complimentary minibars in superior suites and above. When it comes to dining, The Legian Bali has something for everyone. 

Their buffet breakfast is an excellent choice, and you can find great food throughout the day at their main restaurant or poolside options. Complimentary afternoon tea is a nice touch and adds to the overall hospitality of the hotel.
